As part of the Erasmus+ program, a group of French students had the opportunity to explore the city of Bursa, Turkey, thanks to the warm hospitality of their Turkish counterparts. This visit was marked by a rich cultural exchange and artistic discoveries centered around local heritage.
Guided by the Turkish students, the visitors explored the city’s museums, immersing themselves in its history and traditions. One of the highlights of the trip was an introduction to the art of ceramics, a craft deeply rooted in Bursa’s identity. Through workshops and demonstrations, students engaged with this centuries-old tradition, exchanging techniques and perspectives while comparing Turkish and European influences.
This meeting fostered meaningful connections, shared experiences, and a deeper appreciation of craftsmanship and heritage. An inspiring experience for all participants, it underscored the value of cultural exchanges in education and global understanding.
