In Bursa, the Bursa İl Millî Eğitim Müdürlüğü, through its AR-GE unit, successfully organized the 3rd Erasmus+ Adult Education Days, bringing together educators, institutional representatives, and project coordinators to strengthen the region’s adult learning capacity.
The event aimed to promote Erasmus+ opportunities within the field of adult education while fostering collaboration among local institutions. By creating a platform for experience-sharing and dissemination of good practices, the initiative contributed to increasing both awareness and institutional competence in European-funded projects.
A Platform for European Educational Engagement
During the event, participants were informed about Erasmus+ adult education mobility and partnership actions, project development processes, and application strategies. Institutions that had previously implemented Erasmus+ projects shared their experiences, highlighting challenges, impact, and sustainability strategies.
This peer-learning dimension enhanced institutional motivation and supported capacity building at the local level. Rather than being limited to theoretical presentations, the program emphasized practical guidance and real project experiences.
Strengthening Local Capacity Through Internationalization
One of the central objectives of the event was to encourage more adult education institutions in Bursa to engage with European cooperation frameworks. By improving project-writing competencies and networking opportunities, the program supported the internationalization of local educational actors.
The initiative also reinforced the idea that adult education is a key component of lifelong learning. By investing in project culture and cross-border collaboration, Bursa positions itself as a proactive actor within the European education landscape.
A Collaborative Vision for Lifelong Learning
The 3rd Erasmus+ Adult Education Days illustrated how coordinated institutional efforts can enhance educational quality and outreach. By mobilizing educators, administrators, and project experts, the event strengthened Bursa’s adult learning ecosystem.
Through such initiatives, Bursa continues to promote a vision of lifelong learning grounded in collaboration, innovation, and international engagement — ensuring that adult education remains dynamic, inclusive, and future-oriented.
