In mid-September, the CCC project team gathered in Siena, Italy

for a key seminar aimed at finalizing the Professional Qualifications Framework and refining the upcoming Training of Trainers modules. The event provided an opportunity to deepen the work already started in previous meetings and to make substantial progress on essential project goals.

One of the central focuses was the Professional Qualification Framework. A comprehensive document had been developed over several weeks, organizing critical skills into categories such as :

  • Designing and delivering CCC courses,
  • Coordinating pathways within institutions
  • Managing group pedagogy
Through in-depth discussions, the group worked collaboratively to align each skill with the appropriate category. This effort ensured that the framework would serve as a practical guide for future training and implementation.

Another major aspect of the seminar was dedicated to structuring the Training of Trainers program, with a particular focus on linking the competencies from the framework to the modules that will soon be put into practice. Time was spent detailing each element of the program to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. The discussions went beyond the theoretical, exploring how these competencies can be applied in real-world situations.

This included practical considerations, such as ensuring trainers are well-prepared before the sessions and gathering feedback from them in advance to better tailor the program to their needs.
Interactive activities, such as scenario-based exercises, are going to be used to highlight the skills required to be an effective CCC trainer. Trainers will work together to simulate possible challenges and brainstorm solutions, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages the sharing of best practices.
By connecting these activities directly to the professional skills defined in the framework, the seminar ensured a clear and practical approach to implementing the CCC pathways.
The outcomes of this work session were highly productive. The Professional Qualification Framework is now fully structured, and the Training of Trainers modules are ready to be launched in December in Bursa (Turkiye).

This step forward demonstrates the commitment of all participants to the success of the CCC project, and we are excited to continue advancing toward our goals with this solid foundation.
