As part of the project, the Scuola Edile di Siena hosted an exchange activity involving four students from a ceramics school in Bursa, Turkey.
During the week-long workshop, the Turkish students joined our students for mural painting sessions and took part in guided tours of Siena’s historic centre, accompanied by young people from the course. The exchange encouraged the comparison of craft techniques, cultures and skills, with a focus on the universal language of ‘making together’.
